Club Location
Torpoint is a small town in South East Cornwall, situated 10 miles from the main A38 on the A374, on the western side of the River Tamar. It is 15 miles from the market town of Liskeard and 2 miles down stream from Saltash and the famous Tamar bridge, which is the main route from Devon to Cornwall.
The Torpoint Rowing Club is situated in the heart of the town, on the bank of the River Tamar, commanding a large stretch of the river, with great views across the water to Plymouth. At high tides the water comes right up to the building on the south side. Many local people use the Torpoint Ferry (which is adjacent to the Club), to commute backwards and forwards to the city.
